I got loose socks!!!!

I'm the biggest dork ever!!! I found loose socks and I'm already wearing them around my dorm. I went to the mall today and found them, takai desu yo! They were really expensive, but well worth it. They'll be great for wearing in the fall with skirts (although I'll totally look like a japanese high school girl)) ohhhh well.
Besides that everythings peachy. The mall was a bit of a cute overload though, I pretty much want to buy everything. They had stuffed animals that were basically toast with faces on them. For some reason it really reminded me of Ryan, I think he would go broke if he had at it, at Viva city (name of mall).

By the way the loose socks are 110 cm long. And styling....
Ps.s. If you read this, tell me your favorite Villain from Batman, my roomate and me have the same one.

Hi Leslie -- cool socks -- is that the fashion trend? We used to have those here back in the 80's(or was it the 90's) -- remember the movie Flashdance?

Sounds like you are adjusting quite nicely. Are you homesick at all? I remember when we were in Poland, everyone speaking a different language got on my nerves after about two weeks since I couldn't understand what they were saying :)! I just wanted to converse with someone/anyone (besides Uncle John) in English. The kids are adapting to school and I think your helping Marcin over the summer paid off. Take care and we're enjoying your photos. Love, Aunt Karen

Hopefully you brought your black and white stripped tall socks (think Wicked Witch of the West)that you bought in London. They will fit right in with your new loose socks. Too cool! Love you, Mom

I DON'T LOVE CUTE THINGS THAT MUCH JEEZ.

To be fair though you're probably right. You know of my "thing" for stupidly cute Japanese stuff too well.

I like the socks! Now you can finally be a Japanese schoolgirl for real... dreams do come true! Hope things are going well and that we'll be able to talk soon.

- Ryan

P.S. The Joker is the best Batman villian of course. Especially when it's him and Harley messin' around Gotham. Honorable mention goes to Mr. Freeze as played by Arnold.

gosh leslie, they are called legwarmers! Any Who, its fantastic to see your photos and that you and your room mate are getting along swimmingly. I mean she could have been christina, and she almost was this summer. CREEPY. I love the photo of you in your last post surrounded by manga. It gives me comfort that in the pain you feel from missing me you can comfort yourself in really girly manga. Who's the Otaku now?

I miss you more then a fat kid..who is on a diet...misses cake...or something...like that...

-Aunt Karen, really loose socks are only a high school girl trend (although I couldn't help myself) and my Japanese lessons are going so well that I'm actually making quite a few Japanese friends. With the combined efforts of them learning English, and myself learning Japanese we meet somewhere ok in the middle, and if we don't understand each other we just laugh.

-Mom love and stuff

-Emily, I'll try to bring you back something hello kitty when I return. They have soooo much cute stuff!

Ryan- They had a plushy of toast! and they have chicken and ham pillows with faces on them that are really cute.... I want a tomato faced plushie thing so bad!!! By the way my roomate and I both agree Harley Quinn and Joker are by far the best Batman Villain.

Mary-
I miss you more then Han Solo without chewbaca!
